The American Academy of Financial Management ™ AAFM allows certification for individuals with qualifying education & experience. These are the steps to APPLY to be board certified with an American Academy Designation & Credential:

  1. Send your resume or CV for a portfolio review We accept qualifications such as: 1) An AACSB or ACBSP Equis and ABA Financial Related Degree Credits, 2) vast professional experience, 3) MBA/MASTERS or Law Degree, PhD, or CPA, Recognized Designations, & specialization work, or 4) banking or insurance executives with vast experience, 5) Qualified Professors and Academic Researchers.   3. Or Complete one of our Executive Certification Training Programs Worldwide to earn one of our Graduate Certifications.
  5. 3-7 Years of relevant industry experience and good faith documentation are required for any desigation except for the MFP which is part of our 560+ registered accredited MFP Business School global agreement.
  6. Note on Experience for All AAFM Certifications : A masters degree qualifies for 3 years of the required experience. A Lawyer (law license), LLM, DBA, JD, PhD, CPA, or qualified Doctorate counts for 4 years of the required experience. A ChFC ™, CFA ™, or CFP ™ designation holder in good standing with an earned & accredited college degree may also receive some advanced standing toward meeting certification and counts for 2 years of the required experience.

* YOU MUST ALSO PROVE THROUGH YOUR GOOD FAITH SUBMISSIONS & DOCUMENTATION THAT YOU HAVE SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE TO OBTAIN ANY GRADUATE DESIGNATION ABOVE THE MFP MASTER FINANCIAL PROFESSIONAL
